2024 Main Distribution for the 2023 usage year

ProLitteris is currently carrying out its annual main distribution. This comprises the Print distribution for printed works (CHF 10.7 million), the Online distribution for works on the internet (CHF 6.4 million) and the new Broadcast distribution for spoken works and images broadcast on radio or television (CHF 260,000). The increase in the ‘Online’ distribution for works on the internet (up 30 per cent) has reduced the total amount distributed under the ‘Print’ distribution for printed works (down 15 per cent). The royalties derive from mandatory collective management, from foreign collective management organisations and from extended collective licences. In total, around CHF 17.3 million is distributed to 11,833 rights holders.
